To connect to a PC with your device, tap the QR code in the AirDroid program on the device, as shown above. The camera is triggered. Your device will automatically read the QR code and then link to the PC.
If you are connected through the same system, the AirDroid program links with the “Local Connection Mode”.
NOTE: In case your Android device and your PC are not connected to the same local network, but both are linked to the Internet, AirDroid will join in Remote Link Mode.
AirDroid’s Home Screen On Your Browser
When you’ve joined, you will see AirDroid’s most important page, which contains links and statistics on your device. At the bottom right corner, you’ll realise the Wi-Fi connection strength, bars of mobile coverage and battery degree of your Android device.
You can view more details about your telephone by clicking the “Detail” button at the upper-right corner of this display.
A dialogue box shows more data about your device’s storage and the files it contains. Click the “X” button at the upper-right corner of the dialogue box to close it.

From the AirDroid app on your device, you can get files you’ve transferred. Tap the icon.
There are various methods for transferring files, such as AirDroid Web (with a browser, as we’ve been talking) and AirDroid Desktop (which we will show you later in this article). Harness “AirDroid Web” in the “Me” listing on the “File Transfer” display. Notice that there is an unviewed badge on the “AirDroid Internet” option.
File transferred between your device and PC are listed on the “AirDroid Internet” screen. To access various options for actions, you may take on the moved file, tap the file on the “AirDroid Web” display. Sending and Receiving Text Messages
You can send and receive SMS with the “Messages” panel.

Getting Contacts and Call Logs
The “Contacts” panel allows you to navigate your mobile’s contacts and take action on them, including “Send message” or “Call”. You could even edit your contacts on from your phone with the browser.

Using the AirDroid Desktop App
AirDroid currently has background apps available for Windows and Mac. Download and install the AirDroid desktop app and run it. Signing into the same account that you signed into on your app.
Disconnecting Your App and PC – access android from pc
When you are finished using AirDroid, you can disconnect your device and PC by signing out in the browser.
You can also disconnect your device and PC by tapping on the “Disconnect” button in the app. To close the AirDroid program, tap the menu button (three vertical dots) in the upper-right corner of the screen and select “Exit” in the menu.
If you’re using the AirDroid desktop program, you can disconnect from right-clicking on the AirDroid icon in the notification tray and then selecting “Sign out” from the popup menu.
Now you’re ready to replace your USB cable with your internet browser. If it weren’t for charging, you would never need to touch your mobile’s USB cable.
